Tennessee Midwives' Association

The Tennessee Midwives' Association (TMA) is an organization of direct-entry midwives, certified professional midwives, certified nurse midwives, childbirth educators and aspiring midwives whose purpose is not only didactic, but one of fellowship and support.

In addition to our quarterly meetings, TMA offers continuing education workshops, a certification program, and produces its own newsletter, "The TMA Quarterly."

We are privileged to share membership with fellow midwives who have been pioneers in the promotion of midwifery. They have elevated Tennessee's reputation to a level of distinction and have impacted midwifery internationally.

We are proud and excited to be members of an age-old tradition.....Midwifery.
